01Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EasyChatWidget’s website, dashboard, APIs, and the embeddable chat widget (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

02The Service

EasyChatWidget lets you create an AI chat widget, train it on your website content, embed it on your site, and manage the resulting conversations. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

03Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

04Plans & billing

We offer a Free plan (free forever) and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment provider until cancelled. You are only charged if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan; feature and usage limits apply to each plan.

By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and any recurring charges to your payment method. Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before changes affect your renewal. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Upload or connect content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes others’ rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or usage limits.
• Use the Service to generate spam, harassment, or unlawful, hateful, or explicit content.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.

Websites we do not accept

You may not connect the Service to a website that is adult or pornographic, gambling related, sells or promotes drugs, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, or that is harmful to minors, including content that targets, exploits, or endangers children.

We screen the website address you submit against a list of known domains in these categories and will refuse to scan it. We may also refuse or remove a site we identify later. If we find an account in breach, we may suspend or terminate it without refund. If your site was refused and you believe that is a mistake, contact us and we will review it.

06Your content & data

You retain ownership of the content you connect and the conversation data generated through your widgets. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content you provide and for complying with laws applicable to the visitors who interact with your widget, including privacy and notice requirements.

07AI-generated responses

The Service uses AI to generate answers based on the knowledge base you connect. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing your widget’s behavior and for any decisions made based on its responses. We are not liable for actions taken in reliance on AI-generated content.

08Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by EasyChatWidget and protected by law. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by these Terms.

09Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyChatWidget will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

11Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12Contact & governing law
