How to install the chat widget on Wix

Open the Wix dashboard
Go to Settings → Custom Code (under “Development & integrations”).

Add custom code
Click “+ Add Custom Code”, paste the snippet below and give it a name.

Choose placement
Apply it to “All pages” and, under “Place Code in”, select “Body – end”.

Click Apply. Note: your site must be published with a connected domain (Premium plan) for custom code to run.

Wix chat widget FAQ

How do I add a chat widget to a Wix site?

Open Settings → Custom Code, click Add Custom Code, paste the EasyChatWidget snippet, set it to All pages, and place it at Body - end. Click Apply and you are done.

Does this need a Premium Wix plan?

Yes. Wix only runs custom code on published sites with a connected domain, which is a Premium feature. On the free plan the snippet will not execute.

The widget is not showing on my Wix site - why?

Confirm the code targets All pages and Body - end, and that the site is published on a Premium plan with a domain connected. Republish, then refresh.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. It is a single copy-and-paste into the Custom Code panel. Training, styling, and replies are all handled in your dashboard.
