Training your AI
Your widget answers from a private knowledge base built from your own website. You don't write answers by hand, you point it at your URL and it learns automatically.
Scan your website
On the widget page, open the Knowledge Base card, enter your domain, and click Scan website. The scan runs in three phases:
- Quick scan - indexes your key pages (home, pricing, about…) first, so the widget can answer within seconds.
- Discovering pages - reads your sitemap and crawls internal links to find every page.
- Deep scan - indexes all discovered pages in the background while you keep working.
Add a specific URL
Need a single page indexed without re-scanning everything? In the Knowledge Base Settings tab, paste the URL under “Add a specific URL”. It's scraped and added in the background.
Exclude pages
To keep sections out of the knowledge base, add an exclusion pattern in Settings. Use * as a wildcard, e.g. https://yoursite.com/blog/* skips your entire blog.
Auto-generated FAQs
As it indexes, EasyChatWidget distills common question-and-answer pairs from your content into FAQs. Open the FAQs count on the Knowledge Base card to see what the AI has learned.
Re-scan & refresh
Changed your site? Click Re-scan website any time. The old content is replaced with the latest crawl, no duplicates.
